Keeping up with our autumn / Halloween traditions, we visited the zoo this past weekend -- this time during the day -- for the annual "Spooky Zoo." It was nice to check in on all the animals, and Josh loved the characters and Treat Trail. We also saw some of the Jack-O-Lanterns, and some of the animals eating pumpkins. The snow leopards, however, preferred to play soccer with theirs.

These guys did not care about pumpkins, they really wanted the Wildebeests next door. |

And wild things. |

Also this weekend, at my cousins' house, we indulged in another kind of autumn. A bonfire, with a lovely view of the colored leaves all around us, roasting ghost-shaped Peeps. Delicious!
