Rainbow

It's the last day of the "ROYGBIV 2.0" event, and today we're mixing all of the colors up into a rainbow. I found an IKEA rainbow in my cupboard:

Blue/Indigo and Violet

Two for one "ROYGBIV 2.0" entry today, since I didn't get to work on it yesterday. I'm kind of sad that tomorrow is the last day (this has been fun), but starting today and lasting all month, I have an online photography class to take. I'm so excited.

Green

Day 4 of the "ROYGBIV 2.0" event focused on the color green. I found a lot of green around, and chose this photo of a decoration to submit to the page:

Yellow

Yellow turned out to be an easy color to photograph for Day 3 of "ROYGBIV 2.0." In fact, I took too many photos and had a hard time deciding which one to use.  I chose this one. Thanks to this bug, who was nice enough to pose for me.

It helped that the sunlight was just right after work tonight -- which ended up being around 7pm. I love these longer days! The flowers and trees are gorgeous, too. If only this all came without pollen. :)

Orange

Day 2 of the "ROYGBIV 2.0" project should have been a piece of cake. Orange is Josh's favorite color, and there is plenty of it around the house. I had a hard time capturing it, though, but I ended up choosing this one -- a lantern that Josh picked out at Kohl's, insisting we needed it for home.

I chose Josh's Hot Wheels for Day 32 of my 365 project.

And the runner up is... an orange balloon, left over from Josh's birthday. This past December.  I should probably clean his playroom.

Red

I joined up with some fellow photography enthusiasts on Google+ for "ROYGBIV 2.0," an event where we take a photo of a different color everyday for a week. Today, we kicked it off with the color Red (of course).

I managed to get a few red tulip photos that I liked.  I chose this one for ROYGBIV:

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous, although we could use a little rain to give the flowers a drink and flush away some of the pollen. The warm, dry air does feel delightful, though. If only I wasn't stuck inside at work most of the day! I'm just trying to enjoy it as much as possible.
