Wordless Wednesday: My July

Hurricane Arthur dampened (and chilled) our 4th of July.

But the weather was perfect for fireworks the next night.

I ended my Independence Day weekend with a trip to John and John Quincy Adams' birthplaces and former homes.

Of course, my friend and I had to visit Nut Island for another photo shoot.

It was really windy.

At a friend's birthday party (cowboy/cowgirl themed), Josh had his first ride on a horse.

Last weekend, we enjoyed our local zoo's butterfly exhibit.

Josh put on a puppet show.

And the animals just lounged outside in the warm weather.

Finally, Josh went to Fenway for the first time! They were having their annual "Futures at Fenway" game, and we went to cheer on the Red Sox's Single A affiliate, the Lowell Spinners. Josh loved the park, but was a little bored with the game. Oh well, hockey season will be here soon enough.

When else can you enjoy a game in the third row at Fenway for $15 a seat? Hey Monster, down in front!

Hope you're having a wonderful July!
