It was a cold and snowy day in New England today. Joshua went back to school and was able to celebrate his birthday with his classmates. I helped by going in to read one of his favorite stories, Click Clack Moo, and he was asked to bring in five of his favorite things (all stuffed animals, of course). Since I had the day off, I went to take a few photos while he was in school. I wish I had brought my camera (these are from my phone) but it was nice to have some quiet time to myself to walk around and snap a few photos. Of course, it was frigid outside today, so I took these quickly and then retreated indoors with some Dunkin Donuts coffee. Tomorrow should be a lazy day, as school was already canceled. And it is supposed to be even colder, which may put a damper on our sledding plans.
The snow is super fine, and extra sparkly. It looked gorgeous tonight in the outside lights. I tried to get a good photo of it, but this is the best I could do.
