We visited LaSallette Shrine on Saturday night. Every year, they have a festival of lights for Christmas, and it's just gorgeous. It was slightly spoiled by the hour and a half we were stuck in traffic, the crowds and the mud, but we managed to enjoy it. I like all kinds of Christmas traditions, but I especially love to reflect on the birth of Jesus and the true meaning of the season. I'll have to go back sometime when I can walk through a little slower, and meditate a little longer.
