I worked from my mother's house today while my car was being serviced (and more needs to be done... I really need to win that lottery). This is some of her holiday decor, and some of Joshua's below.
There are two things that Joshua has said to me this week that really struck me. First, "Mom, you worry too much." True. Second, "Where's your Christmas spirit?" I wish I knew. I hope I find it soon so I can enjoy the day as much as he will, and so I can make it very special for him. If I could just relax, I think things would be better. I'm just hoping for a drama-free, childlike joy-filled holiday.
