The trees are shedding. In some places, the ground is covered in a colorful blanket of leaves.
In others, there are just a few scattered splashes of color.
As the days get colder, the trees get more and more bare. The geese start to fly south.
We'll be hiding inside soon enough (unless there's snow, in which case, we'll be playing outside), so now is the time to savor the sunshine and enjoy all the comforts that nature has to offer.
