[134/365] The Back Roads

We had our Rhode Island-only holiday today (Victory Day). I worked for a little while and then packed up some photos to bring down to the site of our state fair, which is coming up in a couple of days. This is my first photo contest, and I am excited. Nervous, too. I hope my photos will be respectable enough.

I took this one on the back roads on the way home.

I was also happy with this one of some fresh flowers from the garden. I took it with my kit lens instead of the macro. SOOC. I really need to learn Lightroom, though. I think that will help me get my photos closer to how I want them to look, color-wise and such. Hopefully. :)
